NEWCA stands for the North East Writing Centers Association. The Northeast Writing Centers Association is a regional affiliate of the International Writing Centers Association (IWCA). NEWCA brings together a diverse group of secondary and post-secondary educators from around the region. Each year NEWCA presents a conference with various themes.
